Trump was an eight-year-old bully yesterday, and will be tomorrow

(and that's a fact)

Or actually, there are two facts (...well, at least). The first one is that Donald John Trump is going to be the next President of the United States. How it happened, it's still sort of mystery for me, but it's a fact. The second fact is that Donald Trump is the same person today as he was yesterday. He might be something different in 10 years time (who knows), but tomorrow he will definitely be the same man he was yesterday or is today.

Now that Trump has been elected, however, there are very many people who don't seem to be able to grasp that idea. Yes, the sad truth is that we do need to accept the man as a president. But that's not what people are doing. People have actually started saying that he might not be that bad afterall, that he might do good, he might be a decent man, he might be a decent president. Guys! (and Gals!) That's what we need to hope. Yes. But if he was a racist yesterday, he will be a racist tomorrow. If he was an eight-year-old bully yesterday, he will be an eight-year-old bully tomorrow. If he wasn't able to make up his mind about anything yesterday, he won't be able to make up his mind about anything tomorrow. If he was a racist homophobic openly disrespectful woman abuser yesterday, guess what? He will be the same tomorrow! Nothing has changed. Nothing whatsoever. Well, except for one thing, he is going to be a president. But his repulsive personality stays the same. Maybe he'll be able to hide it better, maybe not. You will need to accept the fact that he's the president, but it would be ridiculous to make any kind of other assumptions. Or think that he he wouldn't be the same kind of jerk he was yesterday.

Yet, for some reason there's a lot of people who have magically changed their mind about the bully, changing their opinions about the guy almost overnight, saying that he will not be a disaster after all (even if before they are were absolutely, 100%, against him).

Not that this would be a good example of the change of minds. But Miley Cyrus is always fun to quote.

If we want Donald Trump to accept us ... we must be accepting towards his presidency & his promise to 'unify' our country and ‘make America great'.

Happy hippies, we adjust and we accept everyone who they are and so Donald Trump, I accept you and deserve to say that I even accept you as the president of the United States and that's fine. That's fine because I think now I want to be a hopeful hippie.
