Lamar Odom: It's a slippery Slope
Lamar Odom married Khloe Kardashian after a short courtship. This is where his credibility should have been dissolved. He married into a family where having sex with an overrated rapper on videotape is praised, as long as it brings in some publicity and earns Kris Jenner her fifteen percent. In any reality TV show, drama means more viewers, higher ratings, and of course, more money. Therefore, if this is one of Kris Jenner's machinations to draw more attention to her family, (as if her reality show and new talk show weren't quite enough) then thats great for her. I see what you did there Kris. If my thirty something daughters were no longer cool I would probably pull out an evil plan to suck the last bit of entertainment from each member of the family. We will all stay tuned to see who gets arrested next.
Conversely, if this is a true cry for help, Lamar Odom is not the person we would have expected it from. Although his father was a drug addict, he has had a very distant relationship with him and worked hard for the career he has (and being born a human giant probably helped). In any case, it is hoped that Odom will clean himself up and get back on the court, lest he join the ranks of Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Bynes and Miley Cyrus. He already has the shaved head, lets hope there’s not a slippery slope from tweaking to twerking.
